Individuals - WAITLIST
I applaud you for taking the first step toward a more authentic, meaningful life. Whether you are dealing with a new stressor or deep emotional scars, I am committed to walking alongside you. I believe in the transformative power of a therapeutic relationship in which you can be the real you. No judgment or criticism here. My style is warm, relaxed, and reflective of my sense of humor and personality. It is my hope that you will rediscover and embrace your true self, which is often buried by past hurts, distorted messages from society, or the pressure to have it all together.
I’ve worked with clients struggling with perfectionism, depression, anxiety, life transitions, career/work concerns, disordered eating, and trauma. Over the last few years, I have developed a special interest in maternal mental health. I completed advanced training from The Postpartum Stress Center, and I am honored to support parents throughout pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond. I also welcome individuals who wish to incorporate faith and/or spirituality into therapy.
I hold a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Psychological Services from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. Since 2010, I have practiced in a variety of settings including hospital, university, community mental health clinic, and private practice. While my graduate training gave me a foundation of psychodynamic psychotherapy, I am a person-centered therapist at heart. I look forward to learning more about you and your story.
