I believe therapy is a place where you can come to feel understood and supported. A positive therapeutic relationship can create a space for self-exploration, growth, and developing ways to navigate life’s stressors. When working together, you can expect a compassionate and person-centered approach, individualized to meet your unique needs. I utilize an anti-oppression and strengths-based perspective, and integrate cognitive behavioral, humanistic, and narrative theories. My approach is LGBTQIA+ and neurodiversity affirming.
I am in my advanced year towards obtaining my Master’s in Social Work at the University of Maryland Baltimore (UMB), where I am involved in DREAM, UMB’s disability justice group. I hold a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from American University, with a minor in women, gender, and sexuality studies. Prior to seeking my MSW, I have worked in healthcare, including providing trauma-informed reproductive healthcare support.
I am providing psychotherapy services under Field Instructor & Supervisor, Katia Callan, LCSW-C
