As a genderfluid and queer adoptee from China, I believe in the importance of uplifting marginalized voices and building a collaborative space for you to connect with yourself and honor your authentic feelings. Understanding who you are, what you’re feeling, or why you’re here can be an overwhelming task, especially when you can’t pinpoint the words to describe your experience or find the questions to ask yourself.

My goal is to co-create a warm and non-judgmental space where individuals feel deeply seen, held, affirmed, and understood, regardless of what identities they hold or how they decide to show up each day. I center my care around building a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship with each individual I work with. My approach to therapy is eclectic, relational, and narrative-based. This means that your care will be as unique as you are. My practice is informed by feminist, person-centered frameworks, which underscores my belief that you are your own expert. I will follow your lead based on your needs so that together we can develop and work towards your goals with compassion, empowerment, and a strengths-based dialogue.

I’m currently in the final year of my master’s in Social Work at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Women’s Studies from the University of Maryland, College Park which also influences my therapeutic practice. Prior to my master’s degree, I have worked in higher education and briefly held experience in the Baltimore City Public School system.

I provide psychotherapy services under Supervisor, Katia Callan, LCSW-C.
