STARTING APRIL 2021!
No matter the magnitude of your struggles, my intention is to meet you where you are and walk alongside you until the burden feels less heavy. I have a true passion for helping others feel validated, accepted, and supported on their journey to mental wellness. While bringing a peaceful and positive presence to sessions, I convey a style that is warm, non-judgmental, and interactive. My goal is to hold space for you to feel empowered to share your story.
I specialize in working with clients who are seeking relief from depression, anxiety, stress, grief, relationship struggles, difficult life transitions, low self-esteem, perfectionism, disordered eating, body image concerns, and other general life challenges. We will work together to explore thought patterns, develop greater insight, increase self-compassion, and challenge behaviors that are not serving you. I use a blend of therapeutic styles tailored to your needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing.
I earned my Master of Social Work degree from Temple University and my Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work from Millersville University of Pennsylvania. Over the years, I have gained experience in a variety of settings, including homes, schools, communities, primary care offices, and local departments of health. I also have a background in providing evidence-based programs and group facilitation. One of my special interests is health/wellness and the interconnectedness between mind and body. I look forward to connecting with you soon!
