Individuals - Adults
“It is okay to not be okay.” This phrase has guided me throughout my therapy career in working with clients. Working from a mindful, person-centered and psychodynamic perspective, I work with you to identify and empower your strength inside to create change on the outside. As a working parent, I understand the struggles, “invisible mental load” and feelings of being overwhelmed. My sessions are tailored to your own unique wants and needs and I individualize my therapy plans for each client. I specifically work with you to recognize that you are not alone in your struggles, and through an authentic, warm and reliable therapeutic bond, together, we will instill hope.
My primary areas of interest are female and maternal mental health, life transitions and parenting support. I have specialized training in working with adult women throughout the lifespan, particularly in dealing with perinatal and postpartum challenges, hormonal imbalances, infertility, miscarriage and fetal loss, and perimenopause and menopause. In addition, I work with you to balance parenthood and career aspirations while maintaining your own identity.
I received my Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology from Loyola University Maryland in 2020 and am currently an licensed clinical professional counselor in Maryland; under Supervision of Amy Miles, LCPC. This is a second career for me, after a 20+ year career in nonprofit management and I am honored to be a part of the team at Insight Wellness. I look forward to creating a therapeutic bond and working towards finding your inner strength.
