Looking for both comfort and change? I strongly believe that growth happens when we feel supported and understood. As a therapist, my role is to facilitate your goals by highlighting new and old ways of processing and understanding the world around us. I am passionate about identifying and understanding the impact of values in ourselves, our support structures, and the community.

A majority of the clients I work with experience anxiety, sadness, or grief, or they face challenges stemming from life transitions or from self-esteem, relationship, and identity. I hold particular interest working with transitional youth.

I take a multifaceted trauma-informed approach to counseling, with a framework of person-centered therapy. I've completed training to support being a Certified Grief Informed Professional, and a Certified Dialectical Behavior Therapy Professional. I hold an active certification as a National Certified Counselor. I practice techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). Additionally, I apply skill sets from training on Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), The “Ask” Workshop (asking kids about suicide), and Instinctual Trauma Response (ITR) to hold and honor space for prior difficulties in life.

I earned my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Johns Hopkins University. I have over 5 years experience working in outpatient community mental health and the public school system.
