Individual Therapy

Children (2+) - Teens - Adults

As a young adult, I am passionate about supporting individuals throughout their lifespan. I truly believe that children are our future, to shape a better tomorrow, we need to provide avenues to ensure that people are healthy – physically, mentally, and emotionally. I utilize a safe, collaborative, and person-centered approach to my therapy, as each person has their own unique set of needs. I will be my client’s biggest advocate, while openly including caregivers or immediate family members involved to ensure a well-rounded therapeutic relationship. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to children, teens, and adults with anxiety, depression, ADHD, school refusal and behavioral issues, as well as managing general life stressors.

I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Family Studies from Towson University’s Honors College. During my five years at TU, I was a starter and captain of the Women’s Lacrosse team, I developed leadership skills that complement my therapeutic approach with an understanding of the demands of high achievers and collegiate athletes.

Before I joined Insight Wellness, I completed a year-long advanced internship for the Carroll County Youth Service Bureau. This experience provided me training in individual and group therapy, as well as specialized training in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). Drawing from a combination of my lifelong involvement in team sports, educational background, and mental health training, I offer empathetic and unconditional care to both youth and adults, recognizing the interconnection of their well-being.

In addition to my internship at CCYSB, I have a plethora of different experiences working with children, adolescents and their families. I have been a lacrosse coach for elementary-middle school children for 6 years, assistant teacher in a 2nd grade classroom, as well as a semester-long internship for the Law Offices of Carl Gold.

I am so excited to join you on your personal journey!
